Description
Through the lens of autofiction and a real videotape archive spanning from 1992 to 2025, Lacuna explores the depths of personal and collective memories, examining the complex nature of forgetting and the voids we leave behind. The protagonist, an artist named C. Ego, embarks on a journey through a dreamlike landscape shaped by memories. Guided by Virgilia, the stage comes alive with an interactive live lottery that allows the audience to determine C.'s path. Throughout this odyssey, she confronts her dark subconscious, and accompanied by the unpredictable music of a cellist, C. realizes that her lost past is intertwined with her destiny, and that the act of remembering is complex, disorganized, and dramatic, reflecting the core of the creative process.
